Jackson Auto Repair – Terms and Conditions of Service

These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern the use of mobile mechanic services provided by Jackson Auto Repair (“we”, “our”, or “us”). By booking our services, you (“customer”, “you”) agree to the following terms:
1. Services Offered
We provide mobile automotive services at your requested location. These may include, but are not limited to:

Diagnostics
-
Maintenance
-
Minor and major repairs
-
Part replacements
Service availability is subject to vehicle type, location, technician availability, and weather conditions.
2. Booking & Appointments

Appointments can be scheduled via phone, text, or online (if available).

We require accurate vehicle and issue descriptions prior to service.

A valid address where the vehicle is located must be provided.

Rescheduling or cancellations require 24 hours’ notice to avoid fees.
3. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of service, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

We accept [list accepted payment methods: cash, card, mobile payment apps, etc.].

A deposit may be required for jobs involving special-order parts.

Unpaid invoices beyond 7 days may incur late fees or be sent to collections.
4. Customer Responsibilities
You agree to:

Provide safe, legal, and accessible working conditions (i.e., flat surface, space to work, no hazards).

Secure pets and remove valuables or obstructions around the vehicle.

Inform us of any known vehicle issues, modifications, or prior repairs.

Not interfere with the mechanic during service unless requested.
5. Parts and Warranty

Parts provided by us are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.

Labor is covered for 90 days from the date of service.

No warranty is provided for customer-supplied parts or repairs declined by the customer.

We are not liable for issues unrelated to the service performed or pre-existing conditions.
6. Liability Disclaimer
While we take great care in performing all services:

We are not liable for damage due to pre-existing conditions, hidden defects, or customer misuse.

We are not responsible for damages caused by delays, acts of nature, or unavailable parts.

If we deem the worksite unsafe, we reserve the right to refuse or reschedule the service.
7. Diagnostic Limitations
Mobile diagnostics are performed to the best of our ability with available tools and information. In some cases, full diagnosis may require shop equipment or follow-up services.
8. Cancellations & No-Shows

Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged a $25 cancellation fee.

If we arrive and cannot begin work due to the vehicle being inaccessible or the customer absent, a $50 trip charge may apply.
9. Refunds and Disputes
Please refer to our Refund Policy. All refund or warranty claims must be submitted in writing within 7 days of service.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Customers will be notified of changes via our website or at the time of booking.
